At General Chapter 2004, the Adrian Dominican Sisters unanimously adopted Vision 2004, which calls for Congregation members to "seek truth, make peace and reverence life" in the midst of a culture of growing violence and exploitation of people and Earth herself. A Vision Integration Convening Circle was formed to help Congregation members, Associates and co-workers integrate the living of the Vision within their places of ministry and Congregation-sponsored institutions. Vision 2004 is an invitation to all people to work toward creating right relationships with all members of Earth community, including humans and all species who share our common home. Exploration on how to integrate the Vision into aspects of daily life was held during the "Pathways to Living the Vision" study week June 24 to July 1, 2005, at Weber Retreat and Conference Center in Adrian.
